The 4th Annual DS100 ranking continues to benchmark the corporate environment of the 57 OIC (Organization of Islamic Conference) member countries. Goldas (Turkey- Jewelry manufacturing) ranked 87th as a first time entrant on the DS100 List.
Goldas became the 1st jewellery brand name in the “brand” category in “The Patent Rewards of the Year 2007” of the Turkish Patent Industry.
Goldas ranked 17th and became the leader of its industry among the “Largest 50 Turkish Companies” list of the “Fortune Turkiye 500”.
Goldas ranked 54th in terms of its Net Sales 2007 results, in the “Largest 100 Turkish Companies” list of the “Global Giants 2008” research of Forbes in May 2008 edition.
Goldas Jewelry held the 60th rank and 53rd in the “private sector” classification in the list of “Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises –2007” according to the production out of sales figure.
Goldas ranked 16th in the “Largest 500 Private Companies of Turkey” list of the Capital Magazine with USD 3.58 billion turnover in 2007. (2006: 17). Goldas is also the leader in the jewellery sector among other companies according to the same research results.
Goldas became the 2nd brand name after Atasay Jewellery in its industry in the “Turkey’s Most valuable Brands” of the Capital and Brand Finance research in the May 2008 edition.
24 students from Duke (The Fuqua School of Business) University, which is shown among the “Best 20 Business Schools” by Forbes magazine, have been making visits to different countries as a part of their education program. Visiting significant companies in the countries they have been visiting, the students preferred to visit Goldas in September 2008, because of its leader position and success in the sector during their visit to Turkey.
